Floating...

Summertime!!!

Ah, I love Summer.

And now, I am done exams. And after working the last three or four nights in a row (and last night was just plain brutal), I am free until Sunday.

I, for one, am thrilled. And it's 3 am... I have to wake up early (meaning before noon *grins*) tomorrow to go for breakfast, then get Becca, so I really should go to sleep soon... but I wanted to write a litle first. Mostly just random thoughts... a few updates on my recent life... stuff like that.

Firstly, I expect there will soon be a long rant on the Twit, and Twits in general. I haven't gotten around to it yet... but ugh. And luckily, since the whole thing is pretty out in the open right now... I don't have to do the whole 'anonymous friend' dealio, like on most situations that are happening to friends right now.

Lately, I've been talking online a lot. I know that I'm a net junkie, and that I've always talked a lot to friends... but lately I've actually been TALKING. Like, communicating regularly. And people have been talking to me, too. Willingly, I mean. Hm I suppose that most people who talk online may understand what I mean here... there are people who always talk to whoever's online on their MSN list. The Twit, it seems, is one of them. I finally got around to adding her, incidentally. You'd think I'd have at least added her in Grade Eight when we were semi-friends... but no. Even then I knew she was a twit. But anyways. Then there are people who have a couple of people on MSN they talk to if they see that they're online, but they don't really start convos with other people unless they have a reason. That was me. I talked to Tristan and Will and not really anyone else. But lately, I've been opening up convos with other people. Chitchatting about random things, little things. Sharing parts of your life with people, and being shared with. Maybe that's why even when I don't actually see many of my friends since school ended, I don't feel as lonely as I did a week ago. Nothing beats actual human contact of course, but hopefully I'm gonna see some friends this weekend.

I also kinda seized life a bit more... invited some people over. I realized that I don't have to wait for life to come get me... Just because it's not a special occasion, doesn't mean I can't invite people over. I also decided that it's not my job to make everyone happy. I was stressing over that earlier. Everyone has a problem with someone else, and there's no way to accomodate everyone. After worrying and getting mad and stressing, I stretched out and chilled mentally. Peace. Love. Harmony. It'll all come. I know from personal experience that it's possible to put aside differences and have a good time with people I don't like. And if people aren't willing to do that, they can sit their asses at home. Simple as that.

Although I suppose ve shall see what actually happens, hm?

Yes. But back to the topic.

Hells, I don't know what the topic even really was... So moving on... Random ramblings...

Right. I was talking about Davo.

I really like that kid. I mean, he has issues (don't all my friends?) but he's also got a big heart. Which appears to be begging to be broken. I swear, one day he's gonna meet the girl of his dreams, who will sneak up behind him when he least expects it and make him forget all about those silly twits he's usually hung up on.

And speaking of hearts... one may be wondering how I'm doing now that Tristan's gone. To be honest... sometimes I forget he was ever here. Maybe he never existed... Like, he's a ghost. Then again... sometimes I really really miss him. Since I have absolutely zero sense of time, it feels like he's been gone forever and ever and he'll never come back. And that thought scares me.

I wonder how he's doing... those last few hours we spent together were really really nice.

Hm.

I'd say I'm in a strange mood, but I'm really not in any mood at all... I feel like I'm floating in space, unattached to anything... No feelings, just floating above everything, watching it.

Perhaps that's a sign I should go to sleep. I think I will.

Aka "Rebound-Boy" [[466-1107]] .... 17 in 14 days		Sayata - Blinking at the Sun/Howling at the loss of Davo's hair.		its the whole innocence thing, it really is! its not just the fact that they stand there looking gorgeous the first time you see them (gorgeous isnt everything, some pretty girls i hate cause of they're personality beneath it) it's their innocence...as if they're waiting for you to come and be with them, and if, from the very first point you starting tlaking with them, they are interested in you, its like a double plus. its like the thing that captures a guy, if they make you happy in the first little while (its the first while that counts) then you just become hooked on them. its that and whether they have that innocent personality, and a willingness to have fun and be interested in Just you for just that little while, That puts a guy in fantasies, and causes him to then on beg to get back that attention and innocence, cause thats what captured them in the first place. its just the immediate outter personality/vibes, and the looks, that get guys drooling.

Now, you're asking "what about the one in your title?"

Well, that one is a story, not an MSN convo (of which I have more, incidentally). And it's 3 56 am. Thus, I will write it (and actual details of my recent life with exams and lack of Tristan and job and such).

Lah.

The Man Smells!

Voice: Which man smells?

Weaver: Er... I do!

Voice: To ask the obvious question... since when are you a man?

Weaver: Well... Technically I'm not... But I took a shower in Dallis' bathroom, and helped myself to his shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deoderant, and cologne. So really, as smells go, I'm a man from top to bottom.

Voice: There are so many questions that brings up that I really don't know to begin. Firstly, why are you at his house? Then there's the questions of why you were taking a shower... where was he... why doesn't he care about you using his personal hygiene products... and all of that unimportant nonsense.

Weaver: The first question has a long answer, involving bodies in trunks, and hot tubs.. You see, yesterday I was talking online to Dallis when he randomly added two girls to the convo. After talking with the three of them for a while, it was somehow decided that Dallis was going to come pick us all up, even though we live on three opposite ends of the city, and it was already 9 30 pm. By the time we all ended up at Gwynne's house, it was 11. It was decided that we would all stay overnight so that there was no need for long driving at late hours. The next morning, we awoke to find that it was almost 11 am. Dallis had a summer-school appointment at noon, so we hauled ass and went back to his house to find the directions quickly before going. There wasn't enough time to drive me home, so I tagged along. When we got to his house, we found out that the appointment wasn't til 12 40, but now that we were already at his house, there still wasn't enough time to drive me home. So here I sit, amusing myself with his Xbox and computer, waiting for him to return so that I can go home, and hoping I don't get my head eaten off by my mother (I was supposed to be home by one... it's now 1 30).

Voice: Well, that answers most of my questions... and I guess we won't know the answer to whether he minds you using all his boy-smelling things until after he gets home.

Weaver: Yuppers. And while we're waiting for that to happen... Let's talk about my before-last entry. The one where I was upset over The Exam Which Shall Not Be Named. Now, of all of my friends, I know of two that read my blog regularly (meaning every day or two). The first one, who as far as I know has been reading it everyday since I first gave him the link (still not sure if that was a good idea...) is the SK. Which anyone who saw the comment on that particular entry should know. *grins* But yes. Th--

Weaver breaks off suddenly, jumping as if startled and cocking her head as if she is looking at something nobody else could see. Then she nods to the same unseen person and disappears.

Imaginary

Voice: Now here's someone I wasn't expecting to see this early on a vacation day.

Weaver: *yawn* I fell asleep around 7 last night, by my (albeit probably inaccurate) estimation. My alarm woke me up at 7 30 this morning. A full twelve hours... so I'm back here, in the mists. I missed you.

Voice: Don't worry. I'm like a 24-hour McDonalds. Always available, if you need me.

Weaver: I'm not sure I need you right now. And besides, you're way better than McDonalds. Mickey D's may taste good for the first few minutes, but the second it cools it tastes like shit, lodges in your throat, and makes you nauseous. You, on the other hand, are always a dry voice in a cool mist.

A low-slung armchair forms itself out of mist, wrapping tendrils around Weaver's arms as she slips comfortably into it. Words slip around her, whispering gently.

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Weaver: Ah, does anyone else remember Evanescence? I know I do. I enjoyed their songs, once upon a time. Amy Lee does have, whatever her other faults may be, the voice of an angel. And that song struck a chord, because of course, that's exactly what this misty place is. A place inside of me where I can lay down, chill, chat, and open myself up like I can't in the real world.

Voice: And speaking of the real world... your mother is calling you.

Weaver: What? Oh, poop. Yes... I'm going to work a show with her today. But on the bright side... it's downtown! The city! Out of the house! Yay!

She fades.
